I grew up in Georgia, graduated with a BFA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, had my fair share of amazing experiences out in Denver, Colorado and now live in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I was born in the south and belong in the south. Even though it took me some time to back to a place I can now call home, the road along the way was an adventure and it was worth the circle. Change is hard, but more times than not, extremely valuable in moving forward to what's best for you. I embrace change as a part of life and find it necessary to grow personally, and professionally.
I am passionate about design and the application it has in my everyday life — both in and outside of the workplace. I'd like to think that I know what most fonts are, and If I don't, I can almost always figure it out in a short amount of time. If I ever won the lottery, I would commit to buying a new font family every Friday. Fonts are a dream, and the dream is real.
Georgia. My dog. She is an Australian Shepherd / Cattle dog mix and she goes everywhere with me.
Color. I love adding color and using different variations whenever I can. I will more than likely always have my nails painted.
Places. I have a lot of "spots" that I fall in love with quickly, return to frequently and they become the places I find myself at most. I love being outside and anything I can do while being in the sun makes me by far the happiest. If you were to ask me lake, beach, mountain, it'd be a pretty close split between them all, as long as the mountains have sun. The place I will always feel most relaxed is at the beach.
People. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and putting myself in situations to do so. I am passionate about the relationships with the people in my life and am thankful that these people help have shaped and continue to shape who I am today.
Exercise. Running, walking, working out. It's what keeps me level headed and I find so much rest when I make time to do so in my everyday. I am notorious for wanting to walk places, even if it's not necessarily walkable. I just believe anything less than 3 miles is much less hectic if you have the time to travel by feet. And you gotta get those 15,000 steps.
Dunkin Donuts. Just the coffee.
I've been given the gift of creativity and will always praise the Creator for giving me the ability to do what I do.
